OCR: Applying fills and lines to composite paths You can apply line or fill attributes to composite path, just as you would with other freeform paths. To apply a fill or line attribute: Select the composite path. Use the "Colors palette the "Styles" palette or any of the commands on the Attributes menu apply a fill, line or color the composite path. By default composite paths have an even/odd fill. This means tha when you apply fill composite path, Aldus FreeHand fills the path but leaves the areas where subpaths intersect unfilled, creating transparent holes in the element. You can override the default and apply uniform fill to composite path long as the paths you've joined were all drawn in the same direction.
